Story

: Today I stayed home from school because I had what I would call a mental breakdown. I woke up screaming about random things that normally would of never bothered me. This is because I haven't been taking my Ritalin Patch off in time. This causes me to be very sensitive and upset. I just want to tell everyone about how serious this can be. Please go over the side effects of you ADD or ADHD medication with a doctor or parent! I know with my medication I should only have it on 9 hours. Please learn as much as possible about your medication! :)

About Me (adhd part)

I got ADHD from my dad. My dad has ADD. They found out about it when he was already an adult, so its harder for him. I have the H added in though. H stands for Hyperactive. Yes, I just HAD to get the hyper part. Owell. They found out I had it when I was in second grade. I used to take pills, now I have a patch. If perhaps, you know someone with these diseses (ok, spellcheck told me thats spelled wrong... but thats one thing u might notice about me, and guess why it happens? yupp!), or you just found out you had it, you want to know what it is. Mainly it makes us hard to consentrait (anouther example of spelling). If you have that little annoying H added in there, you also get really hyper. So, yeah thats it

About the Blog

If you look on my profile you can see my normal blog. This blog is to help people. If you don't have ADD or ADHD, or know someone with it, this blog most likely will be boring to you. If you do... read it! This is meant for teens with ADHD or ADD. Like me. I have it, I'm in high school, and I'm like you. There are blogs and websites out there that have advise for adults, but there are not many for teens. Thats why I made this. This blog will have tips, my own personal stories, and ideas. They are all meant to help you. It can be hard, but if you don't try to do something it won't EVER get better.
